What is Future Skills Accelerator?

Future Skills Accelerator (FSA) is a cloud-based workforce transformation platform powered by artificial intelligence (AI), developed to help organisations build future-ready talent at scale. It is co-developed for the financial industry by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) with industry partners and supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

FSA helps employers and employees by automating insights and recommendations related to skills, roles, learning, and internal mobility.

What FSA Does

FSA is designed to support organisations with data-driven talent decisions across four core areas:

Internal Career Mobility

FSA helps organisations identify skill gaps between current and target roles and recommends learning pathways to bridge those gaps. It also supports talent development, internal job rotations, and redeployment planning.

Strategic Workforce Planning

With real-time market insights, FSA enables organisations to benchmark their workforce against industry trends, analyse skills demand, and plan future roles based on external labour market data.

Talent Marketplace

Employees can access a personalised opportunity hub that suggests internal roles, projects, mentorships, gig work, and learning opportunities based on their skills profile and career interests.

Talent Acquisition Insights

FSA supports skills-based external recruitment by helping organisations match external talent to open roles and identify candidates who may not be a perfect fit but show potential for development.

Why FSA Matters

In an era of rapid technological change and evolving job demands, organisations need more than traditional HR tools. FSA uses AI to:

  • Speed up workforce transformation processes
  • Reduce manual effort in skills gap analysis
  • Improve decision-making with actionable insights
  • Support both employee development and organisational planning

This enables more effective attraction, retention, development, and deployment of talent in a competitive landscape.

Who Uses FSA

FSA is used by financial institutions and organisations aiming to:

  • Strengthen internal talent pipelines
  • Enhance career development frameworks
  • Leverage skills data for strategic workforce decisions

It supports both employers’ strategic planning and employees’ self-directed career growth.
