Select your career aspirations

After building your unique skills profile, the next step is to select your career aspirations. This helps us to understand more about your interest and your future goals to create the perfect learning plan and recommendations for you.


Step 1: Search for roles

You have two primary ways to find your desired roles:

  • Company Job Framework: Search for roles defined specifically within your organization’s internal structure.
  • JobTech Global Job Database: Search from the wider global JobTech database to find industry-standard titles.

Step 2: Select from recommendations

To make your exploration easier, we provides a list of relevant roles based on your current profile and skills. Indicate up to 3 desired career aspirations. Your selection is key to personalising your learning pathways.

  1. Look under the "Based on your profile..." section.
  2. Select the aspired role that you're interested to.
  3. Review the match indicators (e.g., "Strong") to see how your current skills align with these roles. Learn about match score.
  4. Click the "+" icon or the role card to add it to your aspirations.

Step 3: Review your aspired roles

As you select roles, they will appear in the "Your career aspirations" column on the right.

  1. To Remove a Role: Click the "X" icon on the role pill if you change your mind.
  2. To Add More: Continue searching until you have reached your limit of 3 or are satisfied with your goals.

Setting your career aspirations is a critical step in personalizing your experience within Talented, this also helps you to:

  • Personalized Learning Pathways: Your selections act as a key to unlocking hyper-personalized learning opportunities.
  • Identifying Skill Gaps: Identify specific Core Skill Gaps that you need to bridge.

Once you have indicated your desired aspirations, click Continue to move to the next stage of onboarding, where you will prioritize your learning.
